Must visit Magens Bay Beach in St. Thomas, USVI and purchase entry ticket.
1. HERE’S HOW TO ENTER: Beginning 12:01am, Eastern Time (ET) on July 1, 2011 through 11:59pm (ET) on December 31, 2011 visit http://www.usvi-vip.com and complete and submit electronically the online entry form. Entries must be received by 11:59pm (ET) on December 31, 2011. Limit one entry per person/email address. Normal time rates, if any, charged by Internet service provider will apply.
2. SWEEPSTAKES ELIGIBILITY: This Sweepstakes is only open to legal residents of the 48 Contiguous United States and the District of Columbia and who are age 18 or older at the time of entry. Employees of the US Virgin Islands Hotel & Tourist Association, Magens Bay, their partners, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to enter. The Sweepstakes is governed by all applicable federal, state and local laws. Void wherever restricted or prohibited by law. By entering, participants agree to the Official Rules and the decisions of sponsors and judges, which shall be final and binding in all respects.
3. RANDOM DRAWING: One (1) Grand Prize Winner will be randomly selected by a 3rd party software program, on or about January 9, 2012 from among all eligible entries received. Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received by 11:59 ET on December 31, 2011.
4. PRIZES: One (1) Grand Prize winner will receive:
- Grand Prize winner will receive roundtrip, coach class airline tickets for two (2) – provided by American Airlines from the major American Airlines gateway airport within the 48 Contiguous U.S. nearest the winner’s residence to St. Thomas, USVI;
- Two (2) days, Three (3) nights Superior Room accommodations at Best Western Emerald Beach, St.Thomas, USVI.
- Three (3) day Comapact car rental with Budget Car Rental, St. Thomas, USVI
- Tour with Virgin Islands Ecotours, St. Thomas
- General Admission to Coral World Ocean Park, St. Thomas
- $50 dining certificate to Iggies Beach Bar & Grill, St. Thomas
- Two(2) Round Trip tickets to St. Croix on Cape Air, St. Thomas
- Two(2) Day, (3) nights One Bedroom Condo accommodation at Sugar Beach Condominums, St. Croix,
- Three (3) day Compact car rental with Budget Car Rental, St. Croix, USVI
- Free lunch for (2) at Beach Side Café located at The Sand Castle on the Beach, St. Croix.Correct! Gratuity and alcohol beverages are not included.
The estimated retail value of the Grand Prize is $3,500.00. Travel must be completed between February 1, 2012 and February 2, 2013 and is subject to availability, holiday/blackout, and other trip conditions and travel constrictions.. Tickets are non-transferable. Winner and guest must travel together on the same itinerary. Winner is responsible for other costs and incidentals not described herein as being awarded including without limitation, federal, state and local taxes, air transportation, ground transportation, meals, gratuities, entertainment and watersports.
All details of each prize shall be at Sponsors’ sole discretion. Sponsors reserve the right to change or replace prize element with another item of comparable or greater value at their sole discretion No substitution, transfer or cash substitution of prizes is permitted by winner.
5. NOTIFICATION: Potential winner will be notified by email, postal mail and/or telephone on or about January 12, 2012. It is each entrant’s sole responsibility to notify Sponsors if he/she changed his/her contact information.
6. WINNER INSTRUCTIONS: Potential Prizewinner will be required to complete and sign an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability and (where legal) Publicity Release and return it within 10 days of issuance. Failure to return all required documents properly completed and executed, the return of any prize or prize notification as undeliverable, and/or non-compliance with any portion of these Official Rules (including all eligibility requirements) may result in the selected winner being disqualified, the prize being forfeited, and an alternate winner being selected. By accepting a prize, each winner agrees to the use by Sponsors and their designees of his/her name, photo and/or likeness in any advertising and/or promotion activities related to this Sweepstakes in any and all media now or hereafter known without further compensation, consideration, right of review or consent, except where prohibited by law.
7. GENERAL: By entering, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsors, and their respective parents, affiliates, divisions, subsidiaries, distributors, retailers, and advertising and promotion agencies, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any and all claims, actions, and/or liability for injuries and/or damages of any kind sustained in connection with the Sweepstakes, and/or acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize awarded, or any related travel or activities. In the event of any dispute regarding who submitted an on-line entry, entry will be deemed submitted by the eligible person who is the authorized account holder of the e-mail account in question. “Authorized account holder” will be deemed the person assigned to an e-mail account by the entity responsible for assigning accounts for the domain associated with a submitted entry. Released Parties are not responsible for phone, electrical, network, computer, transmission, server hardware or software program malfunctions, failures or difficulties, including, without limitation, delay in and/or inability to access the Web Site or any other web site associated with the Sweepstakes. Released Parties are not responsible for lost, delayed, illegible, incomplete, misdirected, undelivered, late, garbled, corrupted or stolen entries or entry boxes, or any technical, computer, printing, human or other error of any kind relating to or in connection with this Sweepstakes. All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned. Released Parties are not responsible for any damage to participant’s computer system or software that may be occasioned by participation in the Sweepstakes. Sponsors reserve right to cancel or modify the Sweepstakes in the event it becomes infected by a virus, tampering, fraud, or otherwise technically corrupted and, at their sole discretion, award prizes from among all eligible, non-suspect entries received up to time of such action.
